Yogpraveena Shivanna Alias Shivprakash Guruji, is a yoga master, coordinator and organizer of noble thoughts and good practices and hobbies in the field of yoga and has been telling the importance of yoga to thousands of students, women and men through hundreds of yoga camps since 1980 through the name of Paramahamsa Yoga Mahavidyalaya. Those who learned yoga from him are working as good yoga teachers at city, district, state, national and international levels. He is the father of many yoga institutions. Worked as a judge in national and international yoga competitions.
He has worked in the field of education as the founder president of Sri Paramahamsa Vidyaniketan School of Mysore Hebbal. Shivprakash Guruji's father, Sangeet Vidwan, yoga practitioner Sri Sivalingappa, who was a disciple of Sri Pattabhi Joish, started his yoga practice. In later days Sri BKS Iyengar's disciples Sri Ajith Kumar, S. Yoga is practiced by Sri Nagendra, the founder of Vyasa Institute, Kanyakumari Vivekananda Kendra and other Himalayan saints and skilled yoga experts.
In recognition of his yoga achievements, he has received the Yogasiri Award from the Dasara Yoga Committee of the Government of Karnataka, the 'Yoga Visharada Award' from the Vivekananda Yoga Institute, the Yoga Bhushan Award from the Himalayan Yoga Foundation, the Yoga Praveena Award from the Kannada Krantidal Organization and many other awards.
